Coleman is from Lancashire. She attended Arnold School Blackpool as head girl, and she received all As in her A-level exams. When discussing her Emmerdale appearance Coleman confessed she was regretting not going to the university. Coleman was a part of a theatre company, In Yer Space while at school. The company performed at the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. The show was awarded a prize to her for the presentation, while the show itself received a favorable reception. Coleman received the role as Jasmine Thomas while she was performing at drama school. It happened in 2005. Coleman was nominated for awards in 2007 and won two Awards. In 2007, the British Soap Awards nominated her for the title of best newcomer. The National Television Awards, she was also nominated as the most popular newcomer. In 2009 she won nominated in the two categories: Best Actress-Sexiest Female and Best Performance Dramatic. Coleman received a TV Choice Award for Best Actress. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March press conference on the show that Coleman will be Matt Smith's character following the departure of Karen Gillan left. Moffat claimed that he selected Coleman to play the role of companion because she would be the best companion for Smith. Additionally, Moffat noted that she was more talkative than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she's been involved in television and film projects. She has been much prominent on TV as opposed to films. Eva was in a number of parts on the screen, but two stand out: the Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vistas which was in CSI Miami. Eva was nominated for 2 "Daytime Emmys" for her first part as well as having the the opportunity to express her musical creativity. Eva is an entrepreneur in addition to an actor. She is a thrice-married woman with a daughter by her second partner.
